Rasmalai


Ingredients:

Paneer grated: 2 cups
Milk Powder: 4 tbsps
Sugar: 3/4 cup ( Make into fine powder)
Evaporated Milk: 2 tins
Elachi pwd: 1/2 tbsp
Vanilla essence: 1/2 tbsp


Method:

Take paneer, milk powder, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and knead untill soft.
Put the mixture on the heat and stir continously for about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take a oven safe bowl and grease it with oil or ghee. spread the paneer mixture evenly in the pan and put it in the oven.
Bake untill you see the sides of the mixture turns lightly brown. Takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
(Don't let the mixute turn completelly brown).
Remove from oven and let it cool. Now cut the mixture into pieces.
Take the evaporated milk into another bowl and add the remaining sugar to the evaporated milk and mix well. Add elachi powder and vanilla essence. Finally add the pieces of panner and refrigerate for atleast an hour.
Serve cold.
